Go Gators...

The University of Florida is awesome. I attended a practice experience institute session with the college of pharmacy over the last few days. We had a very diverse group of pharmacists. It was great to get away. After many days of schoolwork we were able to have a little get away to Universal Studios. Everyone was very friendly and the trip was very educational. I am tired so I will post more soon. This week I am taking Lennox and his friend to my mother's and then to Mackinaw island for the 4th of July. Hope everyone has a great holiday.

My favorite cat Gwen passed away this week. We spent 9 great years together. She will be greatly missed.

Fun picture finds.

When I was looking for pictures of Gwen I found these two that made me smile. I was pregnant for Lennox in the first one and very chubby. It is always so nice when Grandma and Grandpa Gill visit Michigan. The second picture is dated June 1982 taken in the Pavlick's back yard. I love Aunt Sandy's glamours hair blowing in the wind. I am wearing my Easter overalls which I loved. Hey was my dad's hair really that curly or did he have a perm? hehe

Our projects.

During my 3 weeks off from school I took the time to paint my entry way and office. When Lennox and I were at the museum he found the bird coat hooks in the gift shop. We thought they were really cool so Lennox painted the tree in our hall way and now he and his friends have a fun place to hang their jackets. My office is now a much more colorful place for homework and Internet use : ) Lennox likes to take naps with his pal Mojo one of our black cats. We also found out this week that Lennox was excepted into the high school honors English program. I hope everyone is enjoying the spring sunshine. I know we are.

A day at the GRAM

Lennox still likes it when I arrange his food into a fun shape. We took a trip to the Grand Rapids Art Museum today and had a great time. This desk is in the shape of a skyscraper.. so cool.. Lennox and I are also working on some art around the house. I will have pictures when we finish up. Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend.

Really I haven't been doing much except working and studying. Trashia and I went to the mall to see I Love You, Man at the movies. When we left, the mall was about to close and there was no line to see the Easter Bunny sooo.. We did what all grown-ups do in that situation... hehe... The Easter Bunny was happy to see us. Anyway, sorry I haven't been posting much. There has been very little to take pictures of lately. Lennox signed up for his high school classes a few weeks ago. That made me feel old. His friends keep talking about drivers training. I'm not ready for that either. I hope everyone is doing well... miss you all.
